Celebrating Charlotte de Rothschild's bicentennial

Marking the bicentennial anniversary of composer Charlotte de Rothschild, I'm excited to release a first glimpse into the double album I recorded in London in collaboration with CRD Records, titled 'The Chopin Connection'.

The Chopin Connection will offer a rare insight into the piano works of Chopin by connecting his much-loved repertoire with little-known compositions from two of his pupils from the Rothschild family: Charlotte (1825-1899) and Mathilde (1832-1924). The aim of this collection is to champion two immensely gifted women composers whose pieces reflect a particular voice and style, and simultaneously reveal new facets in the teaching of their admired mentor.
